‘She never stops talking
And she doesn’t really listen either
At some points, I wondered if she was senile
But I realised
She’s just really lonely
She doesn’t have much
Only her dogs and cats will listen to her
Grandpa seems dead inside
He’s learnt the art of passing white noise from one ear to the next
I could understand why my mother ran away
Anyone would go crazy being around her for that long But I think for her
It’s love
Her incessant worry
Is love
No matter what my mother thought of her I knew I had to go and take photos of her Before’
